Even before the crack of dawn, at 3AM, HG Studio already started preparing for Unang Hirit’s promo for the newest show on GMA Telebabad, “Pilyang Kerubin”.
The show features the hottest new loveteam on TV, Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio, together with Elmo Magalona and Alliyah Fatima dela Riva. The cast also includes top caliber actors and actresses including Angelika dela Cruz, Eddie Garcia, Raymart Santiago, Janno Gibbs, Paolo Contis, and a lot more.
The show premiered last June 7, 2010. In line with the show’s premiere, Unang Hirit, with Drew Arellano and Monica Verallo, featured a sneak peek behind the scenes of the new show. It was also a fans day event which featured the stars of “Pilyang Kerubin” together with their viewers and fans.
HG Studio, for its part, provided its famous Photo Station, where the studio was set-up at the fans day at Timog Ave. corner Scout Tuazon St. in Quezon City. The fans enjoyed free photos together with their favorite actors of the show. Catch “Pilyang Kerubin” every weekday evenings, only on GMA Telebabad!
The June 21, 2010 date was a very momentous event for me, as it marked the day yours truly became a Temptu Pro Philippines Certified Airbrush Make-up Artist.
Temptu is the pioneer brand when it comes to Airbrush Make-up. They have been in the business for almost 3 decades and has now become the brand of choice of the world’s most renowned Airbrush make-up artists.
The Airbrush Make-up workshop has 4 certified Airbrush artists, Ms.Dens Congco of The Makeup Den, Ms. Karen Atendido of Blushing Brides Wedding Specialists, and Ms. Madge Lejano of The Makeup Studio. It was headed by a dear friend, Ms. Kay Rodriguez of Kay Studio.
The workshop was held at Sprint Asia in Greenhills, San Juan. It’s an honor to be part of the very few individuals in the Philippines, certified by Temptu Pro.
What would be a better way to celebrate your 60th birthday than to be with your family and friends sharing good food and wonderful memories together. Mrs. Vilma Beltran, or fondly called by her family and friends as “Vi”, surely was surely surprised with what her children had in store for her.
Her children planned a wonderful party at the Zola room of Albergus Catering at 16 Capitol Hills Drive, Diliman, Quezon City. HG Studio has set-up its studio at Albergus for the party’s Photo Station.
Everyone in the party enjoyed the Photo Station, with its novel and cleaver idea of setting up an entire studio instead of having a stationary box in your party.
HG also did the Photo coverage of the event. The birthday celebrant’s daughter, Marge had one request for HG that day, it was to capture the momentous candle blowing of their mom. Sure enough, HG Studio’s professional photographers did just which brought smile to everyone’s faces!
Everyone loved the services of HG Studio that day that even her family went back to the studio to have their photos put in a coffee table album for all the future generations of the Beltran Family to enjoy. We wish Mrs. Vi more birthdays to come! 
June 14, 2010 marked the 7th birthday of Architect Aris Dimaandal’s son, Pocholo, at the Valle Verde 6 Club House.
The Bakugan Battle Brawlers themed party was filled with family, friends, and pure anime goodness. The kids had so much fun, not just with the Bakugan Brawlers, but also with the HG Studio Photo Station.
The studio was set-up at Pocholo’s birthday, so all the wonderful moments were caught on pictures. The Photo Station was so well received by the family and friends of Pocholo.
HG Studio would again like to greet Pocholo a Happy 7th birthday!
June 12, 2010 was the Philippines’ Independence Day, so HG Studio made sure bride-to-be’s are free from trouble with HG Studio’s premiere service offerings.
That day, two future brides tried out HG Studio’s free trial make-up, first of which is Ms. Mitch Patawaran. Mitch came to the studio already determined of the look she wanted to have on her wedding.
She was very particular with the look she wanted, that’s why it was very easy for HG Studio to oblige on her requests. She was so satisfied with the result, she instantly booked the studio for her upcoming wedding.
The second trial make-up for the day was Ms. Yayo Pagaling. Just like Mitch, she already envisioned the look she wanted to have on her wedding day, which is why HG Studio found it very easy and comfortable to work with her.
Much like the first trial make-up of the day, she also loved the results. We at HG Studio look forward to working with both Mitch and Yayo for their weddings!
June 26, 2010 marked the coming of age of Ms. Joanae Bernal. Her family made sure that she got what she wanted, and sure enough, she wasn’t disappointed.
Patio Ibarra transformed into a haven, with its hues of pink and blue around, scrumptious food and of course the HG Studio’s Photo Station. The Photo Studio at Joanae’s debut was the wonderful souvenir photos that the beautiful debutant gave to all her guests.
Joanae and her family loved the concept of the Photo Station so much that they plan to make the Photo Station a regular in their upcoming family occasions!
We are very glad to be a part of Joanae’s debut party, and we hope to work with the Bernal Family in the near future! Happy 18th Birthday Joanae!!!
Dr. Czarina “Boom” Lim came to the studio last June 26, 2010 to avail of the free wedding hair and makeup trial promo of the studio. Initially, she didn’t have a clue what she really wanted to have for her make-up, but this didn’t stop HG Studio from going for the challenge of making the gorgeous “Boom” look even more explosive.
HG Studio created a very special look for Dr. Boom that she ended up not just liking it but…loving it. After the trial make-up session, she booked the studio right away for her upcoming wedding. We at HG Studio sincerely look forward to working with Dr. Boom for her upcoming wedding! Blast away Dr. Boom!!!
A wedding, contrary to popular belief, is not just for rich people. This is why Unang Hirit of GMA 7, together with HG Studio and other wedding suppliers, hosted the Kasalang Bayan last June 21, 2010, at the Municipal Hall of the City of Malabon. It was hosted by Drew Arellano and Monica Verallo of Unang Hirit.
The event had a grand preparation for this momentous event that tied the knot of around 30 couples. The event was made special by a lot of different suppliers and was made even more special by HG Studio’s Photo Station. Their souvenir pictures were such a hit to everyone that the line just went longer and longer!
The set-up at the Municipal hall gave delight to the couples and the guests. HG Studio is but proud to be a part of this memorable event.
HG Studio is proud to showcase once more its exceptional services to another Expo in the metro, The Bridal de Manila Expo. It was held last June 5 – 6, 2010 at the Megatrade Hall 2, SM Megamall,
Ortigas Center. The event featured a unique mix of wedding service providers, including the Makeup booth of HG Studio. The studio introduced to the people who came, its service offerings and unique services. Make sure you watch out for HG Studio in other wedding expos in the coming months!
Working with someone whom you have so many similarities with is something I always enjoy, so when Ms. Queenie Rodriguez came for her trial make-up session last June 3, 2010, the simple trial make-up became a wonderful chit-chat full of personal experiences on life, love and family.
In one way or another, Queenie and yours truly have many commonalities; this made the trial make-up run smoothly.
This is also why she immediately booked the services of HG Studio on that same day for her upcoming wedding. The whole HG Studio family is looking forward to working with Queenie for her wedding!
Turning 18 signals a girl’s transformation into a woman, ready to face the adult world. So a girl’s parents always make sure that this occasion is just as special as their daughter. That is why when Drs. Isagani and Sonia Rodriguez’s daughter, Maxine, turns 18, they will make sure that it is an to remember.
Maxine is a very special girl, whom yours truly has known since she was a small girl. Watching her grow and be a part of her debut, this coming October 2, 2010, is something I am sincerely looking forward to.
Last June 2, 2010, Maxine together with her entire family went to HG Studio to have her pre-debut shoot. The Photo Shoot came out really well, especially because her entire family was there, even including her cousins and her uncles and aunts. They were all very excited since Maxine will be the first one in their family to turn 18.
She also sought the services of the studio for her debut this coming October 2. HG Studio’s Hair and Makeup, Photo and Video plus Photo Station will all be of service for the beautiful debutant. For Maxine’s Debut, we at HG Studio are excited! excited! excited!
HG Studio is proud to be part of the graduation shoot of the new Dermatologists of the Philippine Association of Primary Skin Health Physicians, Inc. in Quezon City. The studio handled the hair and make-up of all the graduates and shot all their graduation portraits and group shots.
We wish our new Dermatologists a wonderful career ahead of them and we hope to work with them again in the future!

HG Studio is proud to be a part once more of the Philippine Fashion Week, through our friends in the fashion industry, Ms. Reian Mata and Ms. Kat Corpus, by helping with their Press Kits for their respective Philippine Fashion Week runway shows.
Reian’s collection “My Interpretation of a Modern Filipina” and Kat’s collection “Mist” featured new and inspiring collections of today’s latest trends. Their press kits featured Ms. Justine Gabionza wearing their pieces and sporting HG Studio’s exceptional make-up.
The photoshoot for their press kits were shot last May 24, 2010 with HG Studio’s photographers Dr. Alvin Agustin, Mr. Michael Mata an Mr. Kevin Mata.
HG Studio was also invited to witness the runway show of Reian Mata and Kat Corpus last May 27 and 28 respectively. We, at the HG Studio, congratulate both Kat and Reian for a job well done at the Philippine Fashion Week, and we hope to continue working with them in the future.

With the makeup expertise of HG Studio, the studio’s resident make-up team was once again tasked to do the hair and makeup of another couple and their entire entourage at their wedding at the Bellvue Hotel Alabang last May 20, 2010.
The HG Studio team took charge of the Hair and Makeup of the couple and the entourage of the wedding. The result was nothing but perfect, just as perfect as the wedding of the new and budding couple.

Baptism is a very special occasion especially for Catholics, because it symbolizes the entrance of a person to the Christian community. This is why HG Studio is very happy to be a part of Baby Jara’s Christening Party last May 9, 2010 at the The Events Village by Albergus Catering at 16 Capitol Hills Drive, Diliman, Quezon City.
Baby Jara and her guests were treated with the great food at Albergus and the unique photostation, exclusively offered by HG Studio. The photostation concept brings the entire studio setup to your own party. It’s a concept where all the aspects of the service can be accommodated according to the client’s wants and needs. The photostation made sure all the exciting and fun memories of the great Baptismal party of Baby Jara were immortalized in photography.
We wish Baby Jara a very fulfilling Christian life ahead of her, and we hope to work with her and her family in the future as well.
Ms. Coco Fullon, a budding bride-to-be, came to the studio to avail of the free wedding hair and make-up trial available for prospective clients last May 8, 2010.
She was very happy with the make-up done by the studio, so she booked the studio immediately after the hair and make-up trial.

HG Studio, one of the most innovative and unique all-in-one studios in Quezon City, is proud to announce that is now exploring expansion and branching out to other places in the metro in order to make its services available to more people.
Last May 5, 2010 was the start of the exploratory talks of HG Studio and SM Supermalls; this is in line with SM’s invitation for HG Studio to introduce its unique concept in their malls.
Currently, SM Supermalls is the country’s biggest mall operator with a wide product and service offering in their malls. But up to this date, the HG Studio experience is nowhere to be seen in any of their malls.
HG Studio presented the unique 3-in-1 concept where Photography, Events and Make-up services would be available all in one venue. This would allow the studio to attract a wider customer base and make its unique services more accessible.
HG Studio hopes to work with SM in the future and to introduce the services of HG Studio in their malls.
