The Philippine Fashion Week is famous for introducing not only the latest trends, but also future trends that would set the standard for what’s “in” in the Philippine fashion world.
Last October 26, 2009, HG Studio is proud to support our friends in the fashion industry, Ms. Kat Corpus and Ms. Reian Mata of the Young Designers Guild of the Philippines, in presenting their latest designs in one of the shows of the Philippine Fashion Week, Vision and Trends.
Kat and Reian showcased a number of their new and fresh designs, which HG Studio captured through the lenses of HG Studio’s expert Photographers.
Nothing would be more fitting for HG Studio’s launching party, than a Fashion Show. HG Studio being the only studio in the metro that offers makeup, photography and events, all in one venue.
Peace Love and Fashion Show was the grand launching event of HG Studio, which was held last October 24, 2009 at the Alchemy Vapor Club at Silver City, Pasig. The studio collaborated with some of the most talented designers of the Philippine fashion industry, Ms. Reian Mata and Ms. Kat Corpus of the Young Designers Guild (YDG), Mr. Levenson Rodriguez of the Fashion Designers Alliance (FADAL) and Ms. Thelma Dequia, together with FUZE Productions.
The event wasn’t just HG Studio’s launching party, it also served as a fund raising event for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy. It was HG Studio’s contribution to the society and a form of thanksgiving for the successful launch of the studio.
The Philippine Fashion Week, one of the most talked about fashion events in the Philippines, has been very successful in launching the careers of the who’s-who in the fashion industry. This annual event was conceived to showcase the talent of the Filipinos in fashion, and to show that we are at par with other countries when it comes to fashion.
This is why HG studio is very proud to support our dear friends in the fashion industry, fashion designers par excellence Ms. Kat Corpus and Ms. Reian Mata, in showcasing their designs last October 22, 2009 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex during the Philippine Fashion Week: Luxe Wear.
The event was filled with so much fresh talent that the Filipinos can be proud of.
Radio and Fashion are two words that we don’t see together often, but last October 7, 2009, Jam 88.3 launched Style 101 & Runway Wednesdays, the first and only fashion radio program in the Philippines. The show is being anchored by its resident fashionista, DJ Tracy Abad, every Tuesday morning, only on Jam 88.3.
The launch was held at the AQUAKNOX Restaurant at Arnaiz corner Amorsolo in Makati, and was hosted by DJ Patti and DJ Tracy of Jam 88.3. The event featured seven of the most promising designers of the Philippines, among them were, Ms. Kat Corpus, Ms. Kat Sy of Sy-Kat Couture, Ms. Cheena Ng Lio , Ms. J.L. Ladrido and Ms. Nina Estacio of Glitterati, Ms. Finina Tugade, Ms. Twinkle Ferraren and Ms. Reian Mata. They featured their collections for the benefit of the victims of Typhoon Ondoy.
