Typhoon Ondoy managed to ravage the lives of our fellow countrymen, but its aftermath brought out the best from all of us and showed how resilient the Filipinos are.
So, the fashion industry, for its share, together with Jam 88.3, Team Sparkle of DLSU Masters of Marketing Communication and Creamsilk, presented Style 101: Under the City Lights, last December 2, 2009 at the Fashion Walk, Greenbelt 5, Makati. The event featured some of the country’s young renowned designers, including Ms. Kate Torralba, Veejay Floresca, Jeff Rogador and Dennis Martin. The proceeds of the event will be donated to the victims of Typhoon Ondoy in coordination with the Philippine National Red Cross.
HG Studio, as a major sponsor, did the hair and makeup of all the models, as well as the video and photography for the event. Other participants include Marykay, Franzia, Fly Ace, Pixiesbooth, VNC and Ayala Malls.
