Last July 29, HG Studio sponsored the hair and makeup of the hosts of Q11’s newest show, Living Well. The taping was at the Encore Superclub at the Bonifacio Global City. HG Studio’s makeup team was able to do the makeup of all the hosts which included our dear friend Ms. Tracy Abad.
Living Well, is an up-beat, interactive magazine show, focusing on life’s different aspects, including beauty, health, events, gadgets, lifestyle and more. You can catch this new show every Sunday at 8:30 am only on Q11.
Last July 28, 2010, HG Studio together with fashion model, Ms. Karen Ann Tuazon, did a concept shoot to show our airbrush make up’s waterproof and smear resistant features.
Yours truly did the airbrush make up on Karen making a very sultry and sexy look for the shoot. The Airbrush makeup applied endured up to the end of the shoot even though she was constantly wet. This is because Airbrush makeup stays on a long time, withstanding water and sweat. That is the reason why professional photographers and fashion models prefer Airbrush makeup as it does away with many retouching that normal mineral makeup needs.
The results of the photoshoot was phenomenal, as the makeup made Karen’s beauty glow even if she was submerged the entire time.
We are very happy for our very good friend, Ms. Tracy Abad, who is about to embark on a new show on Q11. Exactly one year ago, from merely a dream, everything became a reality.
July 25, 2009 was the blessing of the HG Studio located at the ground floor of Torre Venezia Hotel along Timog Avenue, Quezon City. The studio then had the most modern and state-of-the-art makeup, hair and photography facilities that most event and makeup studios could just dream of.
This coming year, HG Studio has upped the ante with acquisition of additional equipment to further improve the services the studio offers to its valuable clientele.

Going to a party is a very important thing for a woman, so simply dressing up is just not enough. This is why Ms. Jeilyn Jacosalem of GMA 7, came to HG Studio to have her makeup done by the experts for a GMA Private Party later that day. With her glam outfit, her look was complete with the gorgeous makeup done by the HG Studio team.
Just like any other kid, Neil Cedric was looking forward to his 7th birthday. To make this event even more fun, his parents got HG Studio to set-up its Photo Station for his party last July 24, 2010 at the Fernwood Gardens in Quezon City.
The party was filled with family and friends, with all the wonderful gifts and games. This was the best party that Neil Cedric could ever imagine for his 7th birthday. HG Studio’s Photo Thoughts photo station, made all the memories stay forever with the fun photo souvenirs that his guests took home with them. And since HG Studio’s Photo Thoughts photo station can be customized for the needs of every customer, Neil Cedric’s requested for a Buzz Lightyear template making his photo souvenirs one of a kind!

Turning 18 has always been one of the most important rites of passage for a girl into womanhood. So, HG Studio was very happy to work with Ms. Vera Lim to make her debut a very memorable one, by doing her Hair and Makeup last July 24 at the Patio Ibarra in Quezon City.
We congratulate Vera for her fun party and looking forward to work with her and her family again in the future.
Stoplight TV’s Ms. Ardge Barbaso has been one of our favorite clients in the studio, so we’re very happy to have her again for her hair and makeup for another exciting episode of her TV show.

HG Studio is proud to have been featured last July 24 in the Philippine’s Number 1 magazine feature show, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.
The taping and interview for the TV show was done last July 22. The HG Studio team was shown on TV having fun while setting up the photostation which was featured in the program. The episode featured the different advancements in Photography and how people enjoy having their photos taken.
The TV program showed the advantages and features of HG’s PhotoThoughts photostation which sets it apart from ordinary photobooths offered by others. HG brings a complete photography studio to your event complete with strobe lights, printing equipment, custom backdrop with different themes, and your very own “paparazzi”.

Last July 21, 2010, rocker chick, Ms. Caren Mangaran, the bassist for General Luna Band, became a blooming bride for a day for a wedding concept shoot at HG Studio.
The HG Studio makeup team did a non-traditional but elegant Filipina bride look, away from the usual “no-make-up-look” most brides request I do for them for their weddings. I applied metallic brown and gold eye shadow to give the eye’s natural color more depth. Her lips were defined more with a romantic shade of red lipstick perfect for a special union. The photoshoot went very well, fun and easy, with Caren’s personality exuding a very glamorous and sophisticated look. Its always a pleasure to work with Caren.
Ms. Rodessa Mortezo, preparing for her upcoming wedding, came to HG Studio to have her hair and makeup done for her pre-nuptial photo shoot.
Upon learning that she wants a sophisticated look, the HG Studio makeup team gave Rodessa a modern and sophisticated look that day. The result was amazing!!!
This once shy lady is now slowly coming out of her shell…we are so proud !!!
HG Studio, the metro’s most promising makeup-photography studio, was featured last July 20, 2010 in the Philippine’s Number 1 morning TV show, Unang Hirit on GMA 7. The interview with Unang Hirit’s host Ms. Suzie Entrata-Abrera highlighted the advantages and unique features of HG Studio’s Photo Station, as compared to the ordinary photobooths that others offering.
The interview showed the audience how the Photo Station makes your event more exciting by having your pictures the way you like it. Ms. Michele Patawaran had her special day last July 17, 2010. The Patawaran – Garcia Nuptial at the historic Manila Cathedral was made more memorable by HG Studio’s expert makeup to make Michele’s beauty glow and radiate the entire day. Her makeup was done at the Hyatt Hotel Manila by yours truly. Her look was simple yet elegant, modern and yet very Filipina.

Last July 16, 2010 HG Studio Makeup team was able to make one more bride happy on her wedding day. Ms. Luanne Cortan, a client based all the way from Norway, exchanged wedding vows with her husband at the Mango Farm Events place in Kingsville Court, Antipolo City. This beautiful venue served as witness to the Sungueza – Cortan Nuptial. As requested by the bride, I made sure to create a look so natural as if it was she did her own wedding makeup. Luanne’s beauty came out superbly to her husband’s delight.
Another service that HG Studio provided for the couple was HG Studio’s Photo Station named Photo Thoughts. We presented the couple and their special guests a beautiful garden backdrop in colors of black, green and brown with a touch of pink and white. The backdrop was very apt since that exactly was the theme that evening. Each picture was a memory to remember…a souvenir to keep. All their guests had a wonderful time.

Like most of the people who come to HG Studio to try our limited-time free trial makeup offer, Ms. Rodelyn Aguiluz, who is based in the U.S.A., came out very satisfied with the results. After the exceptional trial makeup, she immediately booked the studio to do her hair and makeup for her wedding.
At Rodelyn’s wedding, HG Studio did her airbrush makeup, which made her makeup last from the start of her nuptial ceremonies at St. Peter and Paul Church in Makati, all the way to the wedding reception late into the evening.

Last July 10 and 11, HG Studio, one of the metro’s most sought after event service providers, showcased its unique services once more at the Princess and Brides Debut and Bridal Expo at the Glorietta Activity Center at Ayala, Makati City.
The event featured a number of the country’s different wedding and debut service providers. HG Studio stood out from the crowd by showcasing its airbrush makeup services complete with the Temptu airbrush machine and display of all the Temptu products.

One of HG Studio’s regular clients, the beautiful and bubbly Ms. Ardge Barabso, is back for a double concept Photoshoot at the studio. The photoshoot was done by HG Studio’s photographers, Dr. Alvin Agustin, Mike Mata, Inan Bote and Randy Pantig, with Ardge’s makeup and hair done by the yours truland Jhera Fadol respectively.
The first concept was a Cosplay photoshoot. With Ardge wearing a custom made outfit for the lead character in the Japanese Manga, Ghost in The Shell.
The second concept was shot along with Ardge’s 2 year old daughter, Ari, for a kick-ass mother and daughter theme!
We at HG Studio thank Ms. Ardge Barbaso once more, and we hope to work with her in the future again.
Last July 8, 2010, HG Studio’s senior head photographer, Dr. Alvin Agustin, together with model Lheslie Ramos, shot two concept shoots in one day.
The first was a wedding make up look. With elegant makeup done by the studio’s makeup team, Lheslie exemplified the exquisite Filipina bride’s look with a modern yet sophisticated twist to it. The second concept on the other hand took a different theme altogether. HG Studio’s makeup team gave Lheslie a provocative yet elegant look for her makeup. Lheslie provided the sexy vibe, which resulted in a sensual but classy concept for the studio’s and Lheslie’s portfolio.
Facebook and other social networking sites have been a constant trend in the Philippines for a couple of years now; this has significantly increased the demand for glamorous photos that people show off on their profiles. This is the reason why Ms. Johan Castillo, an aspiring makeup artist, wanted to have her photos taken at HG Studio.
Johan came to the studio last July 8 for her Glam Facebook Photoshoot. The result of the photoshoot was amazing, and this made Johan very happy with what she’s going to post in her Facebook wall soon.
Last July 7, the gorgeous Ms. Ela Boquiren came in to HG Studio to get her hair and makeup done for her pre-nuptial shoot. This was in preparation for her wedding on July 17 at the Fernwood Gardens in Quezon City. The pre-nuptial shoot was made extra special by Ela’s makeup done by your truly and hair by Jhera Fadol. She was very happy with her make-up that day, which made her all the more excited for her upcoming wedding,
On July 17, HG Studio took charge of doing the makeup of the entire entourage at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel where the preparations for the wedding were held. During the wedding reception at Fernwood Gardens, HG Studio lightened up the event even more with our PhotoThoughts Station. With its unique “out-of-the-box” concept, HG Studio’s Photo Station, is now one of the most sought-after wedding services in the metro today.
